Bethel Police Investigate Strong-Arm Robbery

BETHEL, Conn. -- The Bethel Police Department is investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred at a store Wednesday night in which the crook lunged over the counter, forced an employee away from the register, and took several hundred dollars from the drawer, according to police.

The suspect in the attached photo appears to be white and wearing a "Petro Oil" sweatshirt, black winter hat, and boots. The suspect's arm appeared to be recently injured and was wrapped in an ace bandage, police said.
