Ansonia Man Charged With Breaking Into Newtown Home

NEWTOWN, Conn. – An Ansonia man faces multiple charges after a Newtown homeowner’s security system recorded a break-in, police said.

The suspect was seen on a surveillance video as he crawled through the Berkshire Road home’s living room window, police said.

Christopher Isaacson, 57, was arrested at the scene and charged with third-degree burglary, criminal trespass, possession of burglary tools, and fourth-degree larceny, police said.

Isaacson was released on a $10,000 bond. He is to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Thursday, Jan. 28.
