An NBC Connecticut investigative reporter hit by an SUV in a parking lot said he is getting better little by little.
Well known to viewers across the region, reporter Len Besthoff was hit by an SUV in West Hartford while walking in the NBC Connecticut parking lot on Wednesday, May 4.
West Hartford police say Besthoff was taken to the hospital complaining of neck and shoulder pain after being hit by a Nissan Rogue SUV driven by New Haven County resident Gregory Massa, age 36, of Meriden.
Besthoff said he hopes to be back to work soon.
"Still recovering," Besthoff said on Tuesday, May 17. "It is slow and day by day. I am hoping to be back at work soon."
Besthoff has worked for NBC Connecticut since Oct. 2013.
