BETHEL, Conn. -- What's your pleasure? Local and luscious fruits and vegetables? Sweet, sweet honey? The scent of freshly cut flowers? Maybe, you like the deep beauty of green hanging baskets?
Established in 1981, the Stony Hill Farmers Market in Bethel has them all.
The market's 2016 season, which is already underway, is to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 67 Stony Hill Road every Saturday until around Thanksgiving, according to its Facebook page.
Numerous local farms and artisans are expected to participate in the Market, including:
