BETHEL, CONN. – Horton the Elephant, the mean old Grinch, Gertrude McFuzz and other favorite Dr. Seuss characters will be bringing smiles to Bethel this weekend.
About 40 students from the Spark Arts Bethel, a performing arts school, will be putting on “Seussical the Musical” at Bethel Middle School, located at 600 Whittlesey Drive.
The performances are set for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.
The performers range in age from five to 15.
The full-length musical will be directed by Western Connecticut State University theater professor Anthony Depoto and Erin Volpintesta of Spark Arts Bethel.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.sparkartsbethel.com. General admission is $15. Children 9 and under and seniors are $12. Tickets for ‘premium” seating are available for $25.
