Sandy Hook Hosts 15th Annual Tree Lighting With Santa

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- The Village of Sandy Hook Village will hold its 15th annual tree lighting in Newtown on Saturday, Dec. 5, rain or shine.

The day's events will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at 102 Church Hill Road.

Local businesses, starting at 4 p.m. will be offering special treats, activities, and discounts. There will also be a tent for karaoke performances. 

Santa will be making a special appearance and greeting the kids.

There will be caroling from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The tree lighting is scheduled at 6:30 p.m.
