New Events Planning Coordinator Looks To Roll Out Events For Bethel Chamber

BETHEL, Conn. — The Bethel Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, with new Executive Director Heather Hansen O’Neill, is welcoming Kate O’Donnell Diaz to its newly created role as special events coordinator.

Diaz comes to the Bethel Chamber with a wealth of experience as founder and director of event planning and coordination with Green Apple Weddings and Events.

She lives in Danbury with her husband and son.

In the position of Special Events Coordinator, Diaz will be taking on the event planning and coordination for some of the chamber’s staple community events such as Trick or Treat Street and the Tree Lighting Ceremony.

She will also be working in conjunction with the executive director to review the results of our new needs assessment survey, strategize the 2017 calendar and add new events that best serve Bethel businesses and the community.
