Bethel's Hal Kurfehs Named In Marquis Who’s Who

BETHEL, Conn. -- Bethel resident Hal Kurfehs has been included in this year's edition of Marquis Who’s Who.

As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are taken into account, according to a press release.

Kurfehs, vice president of Coldwell Banker Commercial Scalzo Group since 2002, has a background in real estate dating back three decades. Recognized as a consistent top producer, he is a multiple recipient of the prestigious CoStar Power Broker Award for the Westchester/Southern Connecticut market, as well as the Coldwell Banker Commercial Circle of Distinction Award, according to a press release.

He also has served as vice chairman of the Brookfield Planning Commission for 10 years, chairman of the Brookfield Economic Development Commission for the last nine years and Chairman of the Western Connecticut Economic Development Alliance the last five years. 

Kurfehs has contributed dozens of articles to professional journals and newspapers, and has been a speaker at numerous economic development and commercial real estate conferences throughout the state.

His biography has appeared for more than 20 years in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who in Finance & Business.
