New Canaan Ski Team Wins State Championship

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan High School’s Varsity Ski Team won its third straight state Class M Championship, and its third of all time, a release said.

Leading the Rams with top finishes were Jeffery Cole in sixth, Wilson Fleming in ninth, and Alex Dobbin 15th, the release said. Cole, Fleming and Courtney Cole also received 2013 All-State First Team honors for the season.

New Canaan was one of 54 varsity teams to compete in Monday’s State Championship at Mt. Southington, the release said.
