New Canaan Girls Track Falls to Darien

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — The New Canaan High girls track and field team fell to rival Darien at a recent meet, 104-41. Below are notable finishes for the Rams.

• Stephanie Benko took first in the 1,600-meter run (05.22.00)

• Cristina Konstantinovic took first in the triple jump at 31.1 ¾ and second in both the long jump (13.5’) and 300-meter hurdles (00.53.60)

• Rebecca Evensen took first in the discus (91’2”)

• Isabel Hetherington took second in the 800-meter run (02.32.40) and third in the 1,600-meter run (05.28.60)

• Maureen Schott took second in the 100-meter dash (00.13.70) and third in both the 200-meter dash (00.28.00) and 400-meter dash (01.03.70)

• Isabel Herde took second in the shot put (27.0)

• Alexis Najarian took third in the high jump (4’8”)

• Emily Wood took third in the 800-meter run (02.33.3)

• Alexandra Naughton took third in the 300-meter hurdles (00.54.30)

• Emily Lambdin took third in the long jump (13.2)

• New Canaan “A” (E. Wood, A. Naughton, A. Amir-Aslani and M. Schott) took first in the 4x400 meter relay (04.23.90)
