As high school juniors receive their PSAT scores this month, many will face the decision of whether to prepare for the ACT this spring or the redesigned SAT. Both of these college admission tests are undergoing changes this year. The ACT’s writing test underwent a major overhaul in fall 2015.
Now, the SAT’s curriculum and scoring are changing as of March to better mirror the Common Core standards. Planning ahead can help alleviate the stress associated with the testing process.
“There are so many questions parents don’t even know to ask about this process, especially with the changes to the SAT and ACT this year,” Carnegie said. “My presentations will give an overview of the testing options to help create a plan and make the whole process less daunting.”
