NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Registration is now open for the New Canaan summer enrichment programs.
Offered by New Canaan Public Schools and directed by co-directors Darren Bruce and Karen Scalzo, Summer Enrichment provides courses in art, crafting, music, writing and more. All programs are open to non-residents of New Canaan.
Programs will be offered June 24-July 28. Mail-in registration is encouraged by May 31. Class sizes are limited and filled on a first come, first served basis. Open course registration – if there is available space – will take place at East School starting June 23.
Programs include digital cartooning, puppetry, keyboarding, The Actor’s Studio – an introduction to stage acting – and “Once Upon a Fairy Tale,” a course in plays and music dedicated to popular fairy tales.
A new Summer Arts Academy will also be offered this year. Pricing for the week of June 30 will cost $120.
