The April 22 event will be open to the public and will offer “thousands of items at great value prices,” according to organizers, who said antiques, art, furniture, clothing, baby gear, collectibles, household accessories, sporting goods, toys, outdoor and garden gear, vehicles and musical instruments will be among the many goods for sale.
Early-bird shopping will be available for a $10 fee to all those wishing to begin shopping at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the event, according to organizers, who said Deal Days will open to the general public at 9:30 a.m.
Led by co-chairs Sarah Irwin and Jennifer Kearney, the sale is being run by about 10 parent volunteers representing the towns of New Canaan, Darien, Wilton, Norwalk and Rowayton, according to organizers.
Scheduled to take place in the Watson Gym on the Country School’s campus, 635 Frogtown Road, New Canaan, the event will collect tax-deductible donation items from the public in the days leading up to the sale. According to organizers, the collection days are scheduled for April 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19.
