New Canaan Weighs Installing Parking Meters On Elm Street

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Paying for parking on Elm Street might be in the cards for New Canaan if the Board of Selectman decide to take up the matter, according to the NCAdvertiser.

The subject was raised briefly during last week's Board of Selectman meeting, but the members and the Chamber of Commerce director both said more research needed to be done, said the NCAdvertiser.

Finding a parking spot on Elm Street can be trying, and First Selectman Rob Mallozzi III said he would not be afraid to put in parking meters from a "business standpoint," added the NCAdvertiser.
