NEW CANAAN, Conn.-- Family and employer discussions are needed before State Rep. Tom O'Dea (R-125) will determine whether to run again in November, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
College costs for his children are a factor. "It costs you money to be a public servant in the legislature," he told the New Canaan Advertiser.
O'Dea has been the state representative in the 125th Assembly District since 2013, which encompasses Wilton and New Canaan.
There are difficulties balancing Fairfield County's "high cost of living," working a full-time job, and being a part-time legislator, he said, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
