Police told The Stamford Advocate that the teen, who was not identified because of his age, faces several charges, including first-degree assault and reckless endangerment, in connection with the Friday, Feb. 3 incident.

According to police, the teen’s 21-year-old friend, Felix Olivo, had been roughed up on the 200 block of Franklin Street over an unpaid debt and the two of them had returned to the scene, allegedly to taunt several men into a fight, The Stamford Advocate reported.

When the men emerged from the house, police said, the youth (who was then still 14 and who won't be charged as an adult) pulled out a gun and shot at them, slightly wounding an unidentified 25-year-old man, The Stamford Advocate story said.

Olivo was charged with breach of peace and the teen suspect, who was also charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, has been sent to a juvenile detention facility in Bridgeport, The Stamford Advocate reported.
