Pedestrian Suffers Head Injuries In New Canaan Hit-And-Run Accident

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A pedestrian suffered head injuries in a hit-and-run accident overnight at New Norwalk Road and Locust Avenue, the New Canaan Advertiser said. 

The accident happened at 2:19 a.m. Sunday at New Norwalk Road and Locust Avenue in New Canaan.

At 2:19 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, a pedestrian crossing New Norwalk Road was hit by a northbound vehicle, which did not stop, the Advertiser said. 

The 24-year-old man from Florida, who was not in a crosswalk, was taken to Norwalk Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the story said.
