NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A New Canaan woman told police her $8,000 watch was stolen while she was working out at a Darien gym, according to a report in New Canaan News Online.
The 34-year-old woman said she had place her diamond-studded Rolex wristwatch in an exercise machine's cupholder at Equinox Gym at 72 Heights Road in Darien, the story said.
The woman said she forgot about the watch and didn't notice it was missing until later, according to New Canaan News Online.
