NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan officers acting on an anonymous tip about an underage drinking party saw multiple teens running into the woods as they arrived at a home on Butler Lane on Friday evening, police said.
In the backyard of the home, officers found red Dixie cups "arranged in beer pong-style fashion," an empty bottle of Smirnoff vodka and 30 cans of Bud Light beer, police said. Officers arrived at about 9:11 p.m. Friday.
A 16-year-old New Canaan girl was given a summons for failure to halt possession of alcohol, police said.
