NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Police continued to collect evidence Thursday from the smash-and-grab robbery the day before at a downtown New Canaan jewelry store, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
Four black men used sledge hammers to smash the front window and steal tens of thousands of dollars worth of watches at about 4 p.m. Wednesday from Henry C. Reid & Son Jewelers, police said. They fled on foot, police said. Read about the robbery here.
