New Canaan Police Officers Among Town's Highest Paid Employees

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- If you are in the tops ranks in New Canaan Police Department, than you are among the top wage earners in the town, according to the NCAdvertiser.com.

The top 10 police force wage earners averaged over $170,000 each, but not the police chief, who can't do overtime shifts or work for outside duty pay, said the NCAdvertiser.com.

It also pays to be a lieutenant: William D. Ferri, whose gross pay in 2015 was $233,383.51, earned over double his regular earnings of $104,624.42, added the NCAdvertiser.
