NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan police found heroin, marijuana, Xanax and drug paraphernalia in a vehicle driven by a local man when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Ponus Ridge Road and Frogtown Road, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
Tyler Pennetti, 26, of Frogtown Road, was arrested after a police officer smelled the odor of marijuana in the vehicle, during the stop, and saw drug paraphernalia. After questioning, Pennetti, admitted he also had marijuana and heroin, said the New Canaan Advertiser.
He was charged with failure to obey a stop sign, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, possession of fewer than 0.5 ounces of marijuana, and failure to carry a license. He is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 1, added the New Canaan Advertiser.
