NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Two pedestrians were rushed to Norwalk Hospital after they were struck by a vehicle at South Avenue and Harrison Avenue at 6:21 p.m. Monday, New Canaan Police said.
Police were initially told one pedestrian was hit only to discover upon their arrival that there were two victims. Police are continuing the investigation Monday night and said the extent of the injuries suffered were unknown at this time.
Police did not release any more information about the accident, which occurred just a couple of hundred yards from the police station.
