Officers responded to the call at approximately 9 p.m. after neighbors complained about several youths carrying alcoholic beverages on the street. Upon the authorities arrival, several teens were seen fleeing into the nearby woods, the Stamford Advocate reported.

The host of the party said she only invited a few friends and that it grew out of control via social media. The mother said she was on the phone in her bedroom and was unaware that children brought alcohol into her home, the Stamford Advocate said.
