Man Wanted For Causing Disturbance At Greenwich Party Turns Himself In, Police Say

A man who failed to appear in court on charges of causing a disturbance at a Greenwich party in 2017, turned himself in to police.

Darius Juwell Hamlette, 21, of Norwalk, surrendered to Greenwich Police on Wednesday, July 17, and was arrested for failure to appear, said the Greenwich Police Department.

Hamlette is accused of allegedly threatening numerous people during a house party on Hickory Drive in Greenwich on Oct. 7, 2017, police said.

He was originally charged with threatening, breach of peace and possession of marijuana.

Hamlette is scheduled to appear in court Monday, July 29.
