A 26-year-old man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly punched a victim in the face during a domestic dispute in New Canaan early Monday morning, police said.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. at a residence on Forest Street, according to New Canaan Police.
Arriving officers observed the man, Asael Davila, on the porch outside the residence.
A subsequent investigation determined he punched the victim in the face during an argument, police said.
Davila was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
He is being held on $10,000 bond pending a court appearance on Tuesday.
