Man Charged With Assault, Strangulation In New Canaan

A man is facing assault and strangulation charges after police responded to a domestic dispute in New Canaan.

New Canaan Police were dispatched to a residence on Louises Lane on a report of a domestic dispute between two occupants of the residence at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21.

A subsequent investigation resulted in Warren Edward Giza-Sisson being taken into custody on third-degree assault and strangulation and disorderly conduct.

Giza-Sisson was transported to police headquarters for processing and later posted a $5,000 bond for a court appearance on Monday, Dec. 24.
