It was a busy weekend for the New Canaan Police Department, whose officers busted three Fairfield County residents - all under the age of 21 - who were involved in domestic incidents.
Officers were first called to a Fieldcrest Road residence shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1, where there was a report of a domestic dispute between two occupants of the home. Investigation into the incident led to the arrest of 18-year-old New Canaan resident Matthew Evans, who was charged with disorderly conduct.
Later that day at approximately 5 p.m., officers were again dispatched, this time to a Main Street apartment, where there was a second dispute reported, involving 18-year-old Francisco Gonzalez, who was also arrested on a disorderly conduct charge.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, New Canaan police investigators were dispatched to a Parade Hill Road when two people were again involved in a domestic dispute at an area apartment. Investigation into the incident led to the arrest of Greenwich resident Isabella Mulas, 20, who was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for her alleged role in the incident.
After being processed, all three were released on their own recognizance. According to police, “as these matters are domestic in nature, no further information will be released.” Each is due back in court this week to answer the charges.
