Duo Nabbed For Narcotic Sales After Months-Long Investigation

Two men were arrested following a months-long investigation by Fairfield Police into illegal drug sales.

John Faulkner, 47, and Brandon Parks, 26, of Stratford, were arrested on Thursday, Nov. 14, following the investigation conducted by the department's Quality of Life Unit focusing on the Brickyard Pub at 98 Post Road, which is owned by Faulkner, said Capt. Robert Kalamaras. 

According to Kalamaras, after several months of surveillance and investigation, while inside the Brickyard Pub, Faulkner agreed to sell an undercover officer an amount of cocaine and contacted Parks, his alleged cocaine supplier to drop off additional cocaine.

While under police surveillance, Parks entered the parking lot and sold Faulkner cocaine, he said.

Parks and Faulkner were taken into custody without incident. Multiple bags of suspected cocaine were located on both Faulkner and Parks, Kalamaras said.

Parks was charged with sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and possession of narcotics.

He was released on a $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 2.

Faulkner was charged criminal attempt to sell narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of narcotics.

He was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear court on Dec. 3.
