NEW CANAAN, Conn. - Susanne T. Braccia, a lifelong New Canaan resident, died Thursday, Dec. 12. She was 78.
Braccia was born April 1, 1935, in New Canaan; daughter of Frank and Anna Rossi Taddeo. Braccia is survived by her sons, Joseph Braccia (Kimberly) of Fairfield, Christopher Braccia (Alicia) of Heathrow, Fla.; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Tony Braccia; sister, Lucy Fayad; and brothers, Joseph, Daniel, and Fred.
Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at St Aloysius Church, Cherry St., New Canaan. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St Jude’s Children Hospital or the charity of one’s choice.
