Antoinette E. Ciccoritti, 92, Former New Canaan Resident

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Antoinette Elizabeth Ciccoritti of Virginia Beach, formerly of New Canaan, died Oct. 18. She was 92.

Ciccoritti was born Jan. 14, 1921, in New Canaan, to Dominick and Elizabeta Conetta, she was raised in New Canaan and graduated from New Canaan High School. She was a longtime employee of the New Canaan Advertiser and later worked as a bookkeeper in the Town's Finance Department. In Virginia Beach, she served for many years as a volunteer at Sentara Hospital.

Ciccoritti is survived by her daughters, Linda Reed (John) of Virginia Beach, Elizabeth Weldy (Thomas) of Monroe; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Dominick Ciccoritti.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at St. Aloysius Church in New Canaan with a Mass of Christian burial, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
