NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Work was suspended at the site of the new New Canaan Post Office for a couple of days this week after complaints were lodged by a resident about safety, according to the ncadvertiser.com.
Demolition work began last week at the 18-26 Locust Ave. site, the ncadvertiser.com said.
Once the compliant was filed, the developer, Richard Carat, and the builder decided to suspend work and alert the state building department, added the ncadvertiser.com.
Later in the week, state officials confirmed the project was a go, and Carat said work will begin again soon, reported the ncadvertister.com.
