New Canaan Zoning Board of Appeals: 7:30 p.m. The zoning board will have its regular meeting. New Canaan Town Hall, 77 Main St.

Tuesday, July 3

Heather Gaudio Fine Art presents Black + White: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The exhibition features works by 14 international artists: paintings, photographs, works on paper and sculpture, all in black and white. It will be on display through Aug. 15. Heather Gaudio Fine Art, 21 South Ave.

Wednesday, July 4

New Canaan Family Fourth: 5 p.m. Join New Canaan and Fairfield County residents for the 32nd annual Family Fourth celebration. Visitors can bring food and nonalcoholic drinks to the park and enjoy an afternoon of fun. Fireworks will begin at sundown. Park passes are $30 for New Canaan families and $60 for nonresidents. Waveny Park.

New Canaan Parking Commission:  8 p.m. The parking commission will have its regular meeting. New Canaan Town Hall, 77 Main St.

Silvermine Arts Center’s Student Exhibition: noon to 5 p.m. The Silvermine Arts Center’s Student Exhibition showcases the achievements of the Silvermine School of Art students of all ages, from youth to adult. This event allows students to share their accomplishments and offers the public a view of the fine art and creative energy generated by the student body. Awards given for this exhibition includes the adult category as well as youth categories for students age 5 to 10 and 11 to 17. The gallery is open noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and by appointment Monday and Tuesday.

Friday, July 6

Summer Theater of New Canaan presents "My Fair Lady:" General admission seats start at $20 for open lawn seating and picnics. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through July 7. Waveny Park.
