NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Thursday, Nov. 28, is a federal holiday. Here’s a look at what will be open and what will be closed in New Canaan on Thanksgiving.
What's Closed:
- All schools within the town of New Canaan and all school offices will be closed.
- New Canaan Town Hall and all town offices will be closed.
- All post offices will be closed.
- The New Canaan Public Library will be closed.
- Most banks will be closed.
- All courts and state and federal government offices will be closed.
What's Open:
- Check with individual restaurants and retail outlets for any special holiday hours on Thursday.
