NEW CANAAN, Conn. An unnamed New Canaan man has emerged as a suspect in a murder case in Danbury, according to a published report.
According to a story in the News-Times of Danbury, the New Canaan man is suspected in the March slaying of Mario Imbesi, 43, a plant manager. The New Canaan man was not named because he has not been charged with any crime.
The report cites an affidavit from Danbury Superior Court that says the New Canaan man bought drugs from Imbesi and exchanged more than 500 phone calls and text messages with the victim in the six weeks before his death. Imbesi was found dead March 16 at his apartment in Danbury.
