NEW CANAAN, Conn. – A generous $120 million budget - thanks to 100 donors -- covered the cost of the development of a community center on an 80-acre site known as Grace Farms now open to the public in New Canaan, according to The New York Times.
The complex will be used as a community center with gym, community garden and chapel on its short list of functions, according to The New York Times.
The main building, called The River, is modern with glass walls. It was designed by Japanese architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, also known as SANAA, according to The New York Times.
