NEW CANAAN, Conn. New Canaan town offices will close early for the long weekend starting on Friday.
New Canaan Town Hall will close at 2:30 p.m. Friday in advance of the Memorial Day weekend. Town Hall and other town office facilities, including Vine Cottage, which houses the human services office, and Irwin Park, which houses the planning and zoning, inland wetlands and building departments, will all be closed until 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. The towns transfer station will be closed Monday.
New Canaan Library will be closed Monday for the holiday and resume normal hours Tuesday morning.
All New Canaan schools are closed Monday for Memorial Day. New Canaan Country School will dismiss at 12:35 p.m. Friday.
