If approved, the plan would include two four-story buildings with rental apartments and two four-story condominiums. The new residences would replace the Merritt Apartments, two brick apartment on Park Street, and a number of smaller wood frame structures, said the New Canaan Advertiser.

The $60 million development being proposed by M2 Partners LLC, would require the town to approve new apartment zoning regulations that would allow taller buildings and smaller unit sizes, added the New Canaan Advertiser.
