More Than 30K Lose Power In Connecticut During, After Storm

 More than 30,000 lost power across the state at one point during Sunday's winter storm and in its aftermath.

About 7,500 Eversource customers and another 1,500 United Utilities customers were without power late Monday morning, Jan. 21. Most of the outages are in central and upstate Connecticut.

Most of the outages in Fairfield County are in Newtown (545), followed by Brookfield (110), Danbury (110) and Shelton (14).

Around 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, a combined 24,000 Eversource and United Utility customers were without power.
