Metro-North Offers Holiday Service On West-Of-Hudson Lines

ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. – If you plan on traveling by rail this holiday weekend, take a quick peek at the West-of-Hudson Holiday service schedule for all Metro-North trains.

Early getaway trains will operate on both the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines on Wednesday, Nov. 22. On Thanksgiving Day will have a regular holiday/weekend schedule for both lines. 

For those heading in to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, there will be a holiday extra train departing Port Jervis at 6:22 a.m., arriving in Hoboken at 8:30 a.m.(a connection at Secaucus Junction arrives at Penn Station at 8:39 a.m.) and to get home, there’s a 12:21 p.m. departure from Hoboken (12:14 p.m. from Penn Station) that operates express to Suffern, then makes all stops to Port Jervis. 

On Friday, Nov. 24, a regular weekday schedule will be in effect. Saturday and Sunday will feature regular weekend schedules.
