The incidents took place in Norwalk on Thursday, Nov. 3 in the area of Kermit Street and Rome Street.

According to Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police, the department received a call around 7:15 a.m., Thursday, of a residential burglary on Kermit Street that took place in the overnight hours.

While police were on the scene, they received another complaint from a neighboring address that had its vehicle entered and items stolen, Dinho said.

Dinho said that around 8:15 a.m, Thursday, Norwalk Police received another complaint of a resident’s vehicle being entered on Rome St., during overnight hours, and items were stolen.

The complainant reported that the two suspects also attempted to enter the home via the back door but were not able to gain entry, as was evidenced by the recording on the “Ring” door camera, Dinho said.
