NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan's landmark Glass House is featured in Amtrak's Arrive magazine for May/June, detailing the evolution of the site from a museum to an experimental cultural center.
There's more to see this year at the Philip Johnson Glass House, a National Trust Historic Site in New Canaan. It preserves and interprets modern architecture, landscape and art on its 49-acre campus, where it also honors the legacy of architects Philip Johnson and David Whitney.
The house, completed in 1949, is open for tours, talks and other events.
