NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 28, at Waveny Park.

The 42nd annual event is hosted by the Young Women’s League of New Canaan.

Nicole Steel, a Berkshire Hathaway Realtor, will preside over the event.

“The Easter egg hunt is magical experience for children and one of New Canaan’s most treasured traditions,” Steel said in a press release.

“I am honored to be part of this event and the Young Women’s League.”

The free event will include the Easter Bunny, face painting, musical performances, and photo opportunities.

The event begins at 9:30 a.m., with the Easter Egg Hunt actually taking place at 10:40 a.m.

Refreshments will be available, with all proceeds donated to local non-profit charities.

Waveny Park has entrances at 677 South Ave. and off Lapham Road in New Canaan.

If there is inclement weather, the event will be held at New Canaan High School, 11 Farm Road.
