To the editor:

On my honor, I will try…to do my best to serve New Canaan.

If that reminds you of the Girl Scout Promise, you are on the right track. It is also the motto of Jeanne Rozel, who is running for Town Council, and has served as a Girl Scout leader for thirty-five years. Jeanne helped to maintain the Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Merri-Bee Cabin in Kiwanis Park. She has served on the Board of Assessment Appeals and as an alternate to the Zoning Board of Appeals. As a realtor, Jeanne served as President of the New Canaan Board of Realtors. She is committed to making this a better town. As a former school teacher, and mother of two who have gone through the NCPS system, excellence in education is her imperative. In addition to serving as a parent volunteer in our schools, Jeanne has volunteered and served many other local organizations. As council member she will do what is best for New Canaan.

This is why I am supporting and voting for Jeanne Rozel for Town Council. I urge you to do so as well.
