Roth, who has owned her store for 30 years, has a wealth of experience offering private wardrobe consultations and will pack for clients' business trips and vacations.
Roth’s tips for packing:
- What to bring on the plane: Bring a soft bag plus a backpack. Keep purses in the backpack.
- What to wear on the plane: Layer jackets and clothes to save space.
- How to pack the bag: Pack a bag puzzle style — clothes won’t get wrinkled.
Part of the segment included the opportunity for News 8 WTNH viewers to win a L’Armoire Style Consultation and Makeover. The competition, which has a prize value of $3,000 was entered by over 850 women.
The winner, Lynn Koroser-Crane from Bloomfield, was recently announced.
On Monday, Dec. 28, L’Armoire will be opening exclusively, and Koroser-Crane will be treated to a two-hour wardrobe consultation, lunch, make-up session and goody bag, glamour shot photography session and a pair of designer pants and sweater to take home.
L’Armoire (French for wardrobe) is located opposite the New Canaan Railroad Station, chosen to accommodate Roth's New York and Fairfield clientele.
The store is filled with American and European designer collections, and estate jewelry with prices ranging from $50 to over $50,000.
