Friday, June 7

Books, Blues, and BBQ: 7 p.m. The New Canaan Library, 151 Main St., will be hosting a party with barbeque food and live music. Tickets start at $150. Learn more here.

16th Annual Wine Tasting Honoring Purdue Pharma: 7 to 10:30 p.m. The Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, will be holding its annual event, which will include food, live music, and a silent auction in addition to the wines. Call the museum, 203-977-6536, for ticket information.

Saturday, June 8

Take Off Your Clothes!: 1 to 4 p.m. Person-To-Person will be holding a clothing drive event at Half Full  Brewery, 43 Homestead Ave., Stamford. People can drop off clothing and sample Half Full’s offerings tickets are $5 to $15. 

Sunday, June 9

New Canaan Dog Days: Noon to 3 p.m. Downtown New Canaan will go to the dogs as people can bring their canines for several different events to participate in. Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry St., will be at the center of the event.
