Friday, March 8
California Pizza Kitchen Fundraiser for Dawn Hochsprung: Noon to 10 p.m. Stamford’s California Pizza Kitchen will be donating proceeds to the Dawn Hochsprung Memorial Foundation, in honor of the slain principal of Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Saturday, March 9
Candy Nichols Grand Opening: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store will be celebrating its new location at 103 Main St., New Canaan, with raffles, balloons and other treats and events.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Noon. Stamford will be holding its 18th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, which will go from Columbus Park to Walton Place through the downtown area.
Sunday, March 10
Exploring the Orchestra: 1 and 2:30 p.m. Stamford Symphony will be holding two classes for children ages 4 to 8, introducing them to the instruments and the music they play. The event will take place at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road.
