NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan Historical Society will be taking participants on a tour to the final resting place of many well-known New Canaanites.
On Saturday at 1 p.m., participants will take a van from the society to the Lakeview Cemetery to visit the graves of artists, authors, military heroes and many others, which will be discovered and discussed by tour leader Patricia Funt Oxman.
The group will then return to the society for a talk with local author Patricia Brooks, who wrote the book “Where The Bodies Are,” the inspiration for the event.
Cider and doughnuts will be served to revive any weary bones. For more information, contact the society at nchistory.org or call (203) 966-1776.
The New Canaan Historical Society is at 13 Oenoke Ridge.
