New Canaan's Historic Little Red House Opens To Public

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The Little Red School House on Carter Street in New Canaan will be open to the public from 1:15-3:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26.

It will be staffed by docents who actually attended this one-room school. 

Stephen Gravereaux, who currently is a member of the Society's Board of Governors, attended the school as did his brother and mother. 

A native New Canaanite, his family were founders of the 125-year-old New Canaan Historical Society.
