More than 85 new artists and returning favorites from across the country will showcase their work this year.
The juried works will include painting on canvas, board and paper, mixed media in 2D and 3D, drawings and graphics, including digital media, sculpture and photography.
“The Bruce Museum's Outdoor Arts Festival has been ranked in the top 100 nationally among fine arts fairs, drawing strong competition among artists who want to participate in the show,” said Sue Brown Gordon, the festival’s organizer.
All works will be available for purchase, and artists will be on hand to discuss their pieces and process.
Exhibitors who exhibit at the show have been selected through a meticulous jury process.
“It’s a wonderful destination for a day out in the fall foliage where people can find amazing, original fine art to add to a collection or share, all available in a wide range of prices,” Gordon said. “Many of the artists also will make themselves available for commissions and home consultations offsite, so this is a great opportunity for custom work.”
The event will feature Ed Wright performing guitar compositions and Annalisa Ewald on classical guitar.
There will be varied menu offerings at the festival, including a “Farm-to-Truck” vendor with new and tasty wholesome food options.
Additionally, the event will offer children’s art activities.
The $8 admission fee includes admission to the Bruce Museum galleries, featuring the newly opened exhibition "Her Crowd: New Art by Women from Our Neighbors’ Private Collections."
Admission is free to members and children under the age of 5.
The festival will be from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
